Alicia Panchal – Therapist

Alicia is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. Alicia is a skilled therapist and dedicated to supporting individuals in establishing, and maintaining, a positive quality of life. Alicia regularly engages in ongoing professional development to ensure that she supports her clients with evidence-based, best practice therapeutic modalities. She uses a client-centered approach to promote collaboration between her and her clients. In addition to her work with Thrive CBT, Alicia works at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as a social worker within the Eating Disorders Program, and provides individual, family, and group-based therapy to individuals all across the lifespan.

Education and Certifications


Alicia completed her Master of Social Work degree in 2018, and her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in 2015, both from the University of Toronto. She has also completed several workshops and trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
